Yesterday there was some minor scuffle between a shopper and the shopkeeper at one of the shopping malls at teen talwar cliffton karachi....due to which two groups of shop keepers clashed with firing and injuring many...heavy contingent of police had to be called in to disperse the fighting groups .the police also used tear gas and arrested many.
Teen talwar is the monument on the round about in front of the red crescent (red cross) head office.it is a unique statue of three swords joined togather all for one ..one for all with pointed end pointed at the sky....each handle is inscribed with a word from quaids famous saying..."unity,faith and discipline".there are many new and posh shopping centers and malls from here upto zamzama .This is the first time I have ever heard of any kind of serious disturbance in these shopping area where most rich and afluent people as well as foreigners shop and is considered to be the other side of the bridge....so help me God.
