legacy lives on....does it really...?

Today my yahoo home page has some very interesting thing going on....the Yahoo header is showing images of historic people for the series ..Celebrating Black History telling the history from the earliest days of slavery and slave trade to the more recent times and how well some black americans have done for themselves and that being black in america does not mean that you are a slave in anyway or a descendant of the slaves has to be a slave in the United States of America....
a little below on the same home page is the news of some American Baptists caught in earthquake stricken devastated Haiti trying to take away a group of 33 Haitian to America...its not yet clear if this was supposed to be an unauthorized rescue mission or just a simple present day example of the historic slave trade of the Americas...
