When It Rains, It Pours

America is the greatest nation in the world...they are great in peace and even greater in war....but there is one thing even greater about them than their greatness that you can learn only through experience is that they help you realize what you can and cannot do.....!
Over the years there have been many times when I ask of myself why I am not an American....? and believe you me...every single time I got an answer WHY ?
In the past two most interesting decades of my life I have had many unbelievable fortnights, weeks, days or just five minutes when I felt so close to being an American almost like a bonding...and yet when that moment is past...I am back where I was if not further...
This past fortnight and the week ending today was one of those most incredible ones.Honestly I was quite excited by a number of things....happening world-wide...as well as locally...like for example on the sports scene I was religiously following the Tour De France cycle race...the Cricket in England and the football (soccer) in South Africa...On the political scene....there is always uncertainty in the Pakistani politics and the local groups and parties were having violent clashes in which many people had died...it was quite disturbing to know you are not safe in your own city....anywhere....Then the US secretary of state Mrs Clinton was visiting to have a dialogue with the Pakistani and other regional leaders to chalk out the future strategy and to reprimand some of them for their failures in "Not Doing Enough..."
The weather was also changing and the monsoon season was beginning to bring thick dark clouds and hope of rain....
All this and more was sufficient to make me excited....But the disablement of my facebook account on a very false pretense made me realize that somebody wants to play hard ball with me...that was about a fortnight ago....so I gathered all my strength and started taking the punches where it did not hurt at all...with lots of pepsi and other cool drinks....and replied with funny punchlines which obviously hurt more when somebody is not in the mood...anyways
last Sunday despite all the pressures and the terror in the city I went for a long walk...on the almost deserted Karachi streets ....when I came back home it was the scheduled load shedding time second out of the three per day....it turns out that this was the last power shut down for a very long week...that ended today...this is the most unbelievable thing of this year at least more so because of the rain, humidity and uncertain weather all week...here in Karachi. The most incredible thing and absolutely funny is that me and my family decided we are not going to talk about it,chat or tweet for as long it lasts...because if it was a mistake somebody might realize and undo...I am  only doing this blog after the two scheduled power shut down of the day.....lol imagine how much I controlled myself the whole week.
Now the question that I put to you my dear readers and only you because I know WHY ! is that if under the conditions of temperature and pressure it is possible to have electricity without any interruption ,shut down, extreme surge, circuit breaking...in a country like Pakistan and city like karachi ....than who or what is stopping it...? and why did it only happened to my neighborhood ...because people in other parts of the town were going through the same loadshedding schedule...as normal....
