its a great movie...the most corruptive i've seen in years specially when i am on the verge of a meltdown myself after all it has to happen someday ...been gone too long as they say...the other day only this week watching a hindi soap ..i asked my mother what if the young related girls i buy candies for now stood up and said "what do you know about anything you haven't seen the world at all...?" my mother she is so sweet and down to earth...replied"yes they could."
lol...no i am not laughing because i am embarrassed to think about me when that day comes...i just remembered that anecdote i heard somewhere about a monk stepping in a pizza parlour and said to the girl behind the counter "make me one with everything!"

The Day After Tomorrow

Papa and me were natural born Bibliophile.Only i got lucky.the huge generation gap that we had grew wider by the information technology tools.We both liked and collected Atlas so one day i showed him the Google satellite view of Taj Mahal in Agra,India and the Ajmer Dargah where he grew up as a child.That Day my net was too slow and he was too frail to sit and browse any longer...i was a little embarrassed because i often over exaggerate upto the mark of almost fictionalizing the possibilities.Papa said nothing and quietly retired to his room.I don't recall if he ever desired to see it again.I got cable soon after he died and Broadband a year latter.Near his fourth death anniversary the US State deptt offered e-library.How many times i accompanied him to the american center library as kid.This should have been my turn to open the doors of knowledge,wisdom and truth for him.A chance that i completely missed.

nice movie...it was released in 2004 ..the book must have been published earlier...lol

Blind date

As a kid ,i used to go to a lot of outings,picnics,parties,cinema,and other religious functions but i still enjoyed going to"mian kay han"  more...the fact that mian jee was not able to see at all and yet he performed all his routines without any help was very interesting for me...his calling my name and opening his cupboard and bring out the box of sweets and giving me a candy always made me feel real special...nothing in the world ever made me feel so euphoric.Radio was his only source of information other than the jamaiti propaganda he got from "other sources"  He was true and honest well-wisher of Pakistan and muslims around the world.He prayed very regularly and was more close to god than many with the sight...
Even though i have always been treated like a true prince but ever since he passed away i was not able to see the world as interesting as it seems looking through his perspective.
  Obviously he hated his circumstances and his life but still he was very hopeful for the others especially for his near and dear ones...i am not sure but it seems that at the time of his passing away he handed over that torch of hope to me...Everybody has to die someday as i have been told but i am very glad that Apa bi lived a full life after Mian Jee and she was very well cared for by everyone .Especially the generation next.All the Best!!!!

Very nice movie...a real treat to watch as the first movie of the new year 2012.I need no predictions or wishes for the year ahead....thank you StarMovies.

Watched this movie at the bottom of 2012 .i.e.on the new year's eve just few hours before midnight...on filmax in Hindi. ThankGod or whoever was incharge....i did not see this movie soon after its release(1998) or later...otherwise i would have never enjoyed 2012  or Armageddon as much as i did.And trust me nothing has changed psychologically in the infatuation with the" holy turkeys or sheeps or whatever.. " after watching this movie.

Everybody is aware how my infatuations are closely guarded. even in my dreams the MAB or fairy-godmother or somebody don't allow me to deviate from single digit of the lowest denomination....Anyways if it hadn't be me, anybody else would have absolutely believed and i am sure most do...and some regret all their life...lol

To Seriously demented 2011.....Cheers!!
