We had game Arcades named after Star Wars all over karachi in the mid 80's but i don't remember if the movie series was in theaters or not...between the cold war and the war on terror we had the MQM and the builder mafia wars ...that completely saved us from the Star Wars craze...I watched the whole series on cable decades after its first release...back to back...and really enjoyed it without going through the torment of waiting and guessing ...what if ...? lol
