18th amendment to the constitution of Pakistan Bill 2010

The PPP lead government on Friday 2nd april 2010 submitted to parliament a package of landmark constitutional reforms, which strip President Asif Ali Zardari of key powers in a move to bolster parliamentary democracy.
This costitutional amendment is the 18th constituional amendment to the 1973 constitution given by the first PPP lead government.and it aims to reverse the constitutional changes done during the President Musharraf's rule.at least thats what I have been told by the media...since I have not studied this amendment I cannot comment whether or not it is capable of undoing the Gen Zia's infamous 8th amendment passed in 1985 which gave all the powers of a parliament to the president.thus changing the course of history...this 8th amendment and the chaned articles 58(2),b has been misued a number of times to dissolved the elected parliament and the government of popular Prime Ministers
