Has Pakistan been a responsible Nuclear State...?

Believe It or not Pakistan has been in the nuclear game for more than four dacades....its nuclear programme has always been for the peaceful purpose of bridging the gap of energy requirements and the availability.Although the western media has always tried to portray Pakistan as a nuclear delinquent and a threat to its big neighbors....to turn the super powers USA and Russia against its Peaceful Nuclear Program....but two Nuclear Powers France and China has always been their to help and support.
Ironically,Pakistans first Nuclear Power reactor was established In karachi (KANUPP) by an American firm GENERAL ELECTRIC in 1966 and started operation in 1972. But In order to suppress Pakistan 's desire to acquire Nuclear Weapons capability for peaceful defensive purpose....the successive American Administrations put a ban on American Companies engaged in Nuclear research and production of related Nuclear equipment and Nuclear raw materials to sever all ties with Pakistan....,so what should Have been a sign of US-Pakistan friendly Relations became the biggest obstacle...an almost face-off between the two.
For dacades Pakistan's global trade and foreign relations suffered heavily due to this American stubbornness and even when in May 1998 when Pakistan officially conducted its first Nuclear Tests as a counter measure to India's nuclear tests...which the whole world condenmed and accepted the fact that it has distrurbed the balance of power....the Americans choose to punish Pakistan more with global sanctions and US legislative restriction...on economic and military Aid to Pakistan.
Anyways, that was the past...and we all know that it was not just Pakistan that has suffered due to this alienation by the US...they have suffered equally ,because the whole world knows that Pakistan deserved an All American Nuclear Program from the day one. Now that President Obama is doing a lot of first time in the history thing....Hosting a Nuclear security summit and inviting Pakistan is a first that even I could not have imagined in my wildest dreams...but I don't want to admit it today a day after its successful conclusion.still I cannot find the words to express my gratitude...for taking the initiative and such a bold step....Nuclear cooperation is a must between the Nuclear states and the aspiring nations...Thankyou Mr President.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
